Otfim BeChessed – who are we?

The Otfim Bechesed association was founded following the outbreak of the October 7th war to provide for the needs that arose in the field, with a special emphasis on the Gaza Envelope communities, which experienced severe trauma at the beginning of the war.

The association's goals include:

Supporting and empowering residents from the Gaza Envelope. Promoting national unity. Memorializing the fallen and their values.

Even before the war, together with partners, we initiated several social projects:

Civilian volunteer combat support corps to help our soldiers during Operation Protective Edge

– "Pina Chamah" (Warm corner) with refreshments for soldiers stationed in the Gaza Envelope

– Regional Beit Midrash for Jewish Studies

Bar/Bat Mitzvah project in partnership with surrounding kibbutzim (a longstanding project based in Kfar Maimon, which has been renewed in recent years)

Otfim Bechesed was founded to facilitate the continuation and expansion of existing activities and to increase activities based on the needs arising in the field.

Our goal is to foster unity and do good through giving with love.
